what have i been up to?

Been doing freelance photography lately, practicing with my two new lenses, and just using my resources here in the Pacific Northwest. Getting ready for many gigs comingup...

May 1st- Bachelorette party

May 8th- First wedding of the season

May 22nd- Wedding Shower

May 29th - Wedding

June 5th - Newborn shoot

June 19th- Wedding

I'm gonna be a busy girl here in the next couple months. It's exciting, somewhat nerve-racking, but I love every minute of it.

If you do what you love, you won't work a day in your life. Richard keeps telling me that, and I try not to think of it as work. The editing gets tedious, but I do them in groups at a time so I don't get burnt out.

I can't wait for this spring/summer season! Weddings, here I come!

dilemma

i KNOW that i need another camera body for my photography. 300+ guests to shoot next month. going to use my sister's nikon d40x which is basically the same as d60, so that's good.

however!

i am wanting to get into canon lenses and learn about them. that's a whole new investment side of my photography. that may be another year or so, depending on how many photoshoots i can book.

but i am loving it right now!! busy busy photography keeps a photographer happy!

i am also needing more practice with my lensbaby 2.0 as it is difficult to focus with... no auto focus on the d60 body so i have to manually do it. working on that as well...

if ever there were a photo to describe how i feel right now, or how i will feel end may/beginning june... here it is...

tomorrow i'm traveling to tacoma to get 2 lenses. they arent NEW persay, but they are new to me. good discount though, that's all that matters.
